The Providence College volleyball team participated in a five team tournament during the weekend of Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9. The teams played two games to 25 against each other in the round robin format. Providence split 1-1 versus Seton Hall 21-25 and 26-24. The Friars then dropped two against Kent State, 24-26 and 19-25. PC rebounded with a 2-0 sweep of Marist, 25-23 and 25-21. The squad finished the weekend with a 1-1 split with Iona, 25-19 and 24-26. Head Coach Margot Royer: "Abby Majewski has stepped up as more of a go to hitter than ever." "Kelly Krahenbuhl's defense was consistent this weekend, and was the glue that held us together. Her play really stood out." "Everyone exceeded our expectations and played with a total team effort."
